In any pitch to Bustle, please include the following: 1-2 sentences about your writing background and links to a few relevant clips. A sample headline. Send your post in plain text, not HTML, in Microsoft Word to email@tinybuddha.com, with the title in the subject line. Please only send one submission per email. Upload a photo of yourself at gravatar.com (if you’d like a photo to show next to your bio). Also, please include in your email the email address you linked to your gravatar account.
Forbes
Submit your completed article to ideas@forbes.com. The article can be any length. The piece must be original and exclusive to Forbes. They ask that you allow five business days (i.e. excluding weekends and holidays) for them to review your article. No follow-up emails.
Huffington Post
HuffPost also believes that inclusive journalism shouldn’t just be limited to text-based stories. Whether you’re a freelance producer, graphic artist or other visual creative, we want to work with you! Due to the volume of submissions, it is not possible for us to respond to every submission individually.

Pitches should include a detailed description of what a completed article will look and sound like, and an expectation of when it could be ready for review. Submissions of completed work should be prefaced with a short summary of the topic and approach.

Usually two or three paragraphs are enough. The best pitches indicate the sources of information you intend to use. A working headline helps, and, if your story is timely, give us a news hook. Submit at submissions@yesmagazine.org.

Send pitches to our Editor at Large Andrea Zimmerman and include the word "Pitch" in your subject line. Please include your resume or bio and a link to a writing sample or blog if you have one. Your pitch should include a few lines detailing what you want to write about and how long you think it'll be. Pieces on our site are generally between 500 and 1200 words.
