2018 has been quite a year - viral videos, TEDx talks, Viral videos, TEDx talks, Washington Post articles, First time publishing and more!

Declaration: 10 media placements for my clients, myself and Million Person Project by April 13th. Five of those placements need to be on major media platforms. (Platforms over 10 million). And the last part of my declaration was to build relationships with 3 editors or producers. 

Why?: I work with some of the world's most amazing change makers. I coach them to give the most powerful talks of their lives and stand fully in their power. Lots of my clients secure TED talks or do keynote addresses, which is amazing!! But to truly transform culture, they also need to be seen in the media. I realized that I wasn't serving my clients to the best of my ability if I didn't know how to coach them into getting media. So I decided to use Heartcore Leadership, a leadership development program that helps entrepreneurs expand their visions, as my opportunity to see what I could do. 

Results: 

#1 - Viral video on Upworthy video with over 400,000 view on Z Griss, a gender non-conforming sex coach. Z is professionally trained dancer out of Julliard who learned how to do everything just right with their body. Their training built their skills but made them feel trapped in their body. When they found the world of kink, everything changed for them. They realized their wild self expression was their power. That orgasm could be a pathway to liberation. They are now a sex coach who helps people really access their sexual power and put it into action in their lives.

#2 Aimee Allison's feature on Upworthy about the importance of people of color running for office will came out in April 2018.  Aimee is President of Democracy in Color, an organization that focuses on race, politics and the New American Majority that worked to elect President Barack Obama, Senator Cory Booker, Senator Kamala Harris, and other leaders who carry a social justice agenda. 

#3 We got a BOOK DEAL with Chronicle Books to write a book about the power of personal storytelling!!

#4 I did my first cold calling of TV news stations for Heartcore Leadership's service project and on my second call I got a YES!!

#5 My client and fellow Heartcore Leadership participant, Shereen Sun, wrote an article for WITCH magazine about how first generation millennials can break ancestral chains of oppression by being successful in business. The article will come out in April 2018. 

#6 Rachel Aidan published an article about transforming trauma into leadership. Rachel survived extreme trauma as a child -- forced incest, rape, depression, teenage pregnancy and attempted suicide. She survived and she is now committed to breaking the silence around this type of taboo trauma. In February of 2018, she lost her brother to suicide and she believes it was because of the silence he held inside. Her mission is to break the silence and break the stigma.
